Nikolaus Dürkopp and Karl Schmidt were co-founders of this firm, in Bielefeld (North Rhine), Germany, 1867.
See the original iron protection for the belt. This model “CL 14” was inspired by Singer 15K. It was followed , a few serial numbers later, by the model “14” , with same shape but without this protection.
